26th Annual Father's Day Smoke & Steam Show

Enjoy the Kawarthas’ original tractor show featuring power equipment displays, tractor games, vintage farm trucks, a tractor parade through the Village and more!

- Pie-eating contest on the Village Green
- School lessons on horse and steam power
- Traditional music by Glen Caradus & Fiddling Jay
- Model train display brought by the Ganaraska Railway Modellers and Jim Burchell
- Keene Lions Club Food Truck serving BBQ goods ($- CASH ONLY)
- Pancake Breakfast in the PCAHB ($)- while supplies last
- Paper whistle craft for kids
- Old-fashioned school yard games
- Empire Cheese curd for sale ($)
- Shingle Mill demonstrations
- Broad axe hand-hewing demonstrations
- Freshly popped kettle corn by Ben's Kettle Corn ($)
- Spinning demonstrations
- Grinding demonstrations at the Lang Grist Mill
- Artisans Centre Peterborough woodturning group
- Tractor games beginning at 12 noon
- Tractor parade through the historic village beginning at 3 pm
Admission: Adults- $15, Students & Seniors (60+) – $10, Youths 5 to 14 Years of Age – $7, Children Under 5 Years of Age – Free, Family Pass (includes 2 Adults and up to 4 Youths) – $40

Meet our 2023 Show Ambassador
Our 2023 Smoke & Steam Show Ambassador is Claire Stoyles. Claire is a grade ten student at Adam Scott Collegiate Vocational Institute in Peterborough. She is the secretary of the student counci and works with a team of talented individuals to make the visions of the student body come to life. In her free time she enjoys creating art and spending time outside with family and friends.
