29th Annual Transportation Day Car & Motorcycle Show
Sunday, July 12 ~ 10 am to 4 pm
Car enthusiasts from across Ontario showcase their antique & classic cars and vintage motorcycles in the historic village with over 25 awards to be won.
Featuring:
- Horse & wagon rides
- Music of the 50s to 80s courtesy of DJ Del and Jenny Jams
- School lessons on pioneer travel and transportation
- Grist Mill demonstrations
- Tongue-in-cheek suffrage meeting at the Town Hall (set demonstration times)
- Corn sandbox activity for kids
- Old-fashioned schoolyard games
- Craft at the Ayotte Cabin
- Log hand-hewing demonstrations
- Displays by the Peterborough Model Railroaders
- Sweet treats and refreshment at the Keene Hotel ($)
- Keene Lions Club Food Truck serving BBQ goods ($)- CASH only
- Freshly popped kettle corn by Ben's Kettle Corn ($)
- Mini pancakes on a stick by Call Creations ($)
- Fresh Empire Cheese curd, bread, and pickles on a stick for sale in the Cheese Factory ($)
Visitors are encouraged to bring cash as there is no ATM on-site.
Admission: Adults- $17, Students & Seniors (60+) – $12, Youths 5 to 14 Years of Age – $9, Free for Children Under 5 Years of Age, Family Pass (includes 2 Adults and up to 4 Youths) – $45
Please note: Events run rain or shine. Special activities are subject to change due to weather, materials, volunteer availability and unforeseen circumstances. In the event of extreme circumstances which require cancellation, a notice will be posted on our social media pages. Last admission is 3 pm, but we recommend you give yourself a minimum of 2 hours for your visit. On-site parking is available on a first come first served basis. Overflow parking is available at McIntyre Park.
