Christmas by Candlelight
Saturday, December 5th - Sunday, December 6th ~ 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Get into the spirit of the season with a traditional Pioneer Christmas at Lang Pioneer Village Museum. Delight in the sights, sounds and smells of the holiday season as you tour the historic Village lit by the soft glow of candles, lanterns and lamps. Meet Father Christmas, join in a carol sing with the Muscovy Ducks, enjoy free horse and wagon rides, sample traditional Christmas treats, make your own punched tin Christmas ornament and more. Purchase a special gift for a loved one (or yourself) in the Museum Shop or in the Christmas hand-craft market in the Jacquard Loom Interpretive Centre. Don’t forget to bring your camera for a dress-up, sleighing photo opportunity! On Sunday at 7:30 pm, witness a live nativity performed by members of the Keene United Church.
Please consider bringing a non-perishable food item to donate to the Otonabee-South Monaghan Food Cupboard. A donation basket will be the the Museum Shop upon arrival.
