The Visitor Centre at Lang Pioneer Village Museum houses two galleries. The Main Gallery is a long-term exhibit gallery. Exhibits in the MacKelvie Gallery are temporary and will profile special event themes or the work of local artists, photographers and craftspeople.

The Main Gallery is currently closed to the public as it is in the process of being converted to a theatre. The theatre will feature an orientation video introducing visitors to the history of Peterborough County. The presentation will profile the coming of European settlers to the area in the early 1800’s and the impact this had on the lives of the local First Nations population. Completion date to be announced.
