Youth Interpreter Program

Youth ages 12 to 16 are given a taste of the life of a 19th-century teenager with the Youth Interpreter Program at Lang Pioneer Village Museum. This is a fun and interesting way to gain new skills and experience. As a Youth Interpreter you will wear a period-appropriate costume provided by the Village, develop your public speaking skills, learn new crafts and trades, gain work experience, learn health and safety skills for work/home, and make new friends. Youth can apply to the program for a two-week session which runs from Wednesday to Friday. This is a fun living history experience that can also be a stepping stone to becoming a youth volunteer.
