Hand-Sewn Faux Leather Plague Doctor Mask Workshop- CANCELLED

Skill Level: Intermediate, Hand-Sewing Skills Required  

Workshop Date & Time:
Friday, October 9 from 10 am to 3 pm (includes a 1/2 hour lunch break)

 Cost: $80 (includes $50 pattern and material kit fee and $30 workshop participation fee)

Make your own hand-sewn plague doctor mask with direction from the Village Costumer. This workshop is designed to assist those who have purchased a pattern/kit from the Museum Shop by encouraging them to work on it, and offering some assistance and direction from the Village Costumer. 

This workshop will take place outdoors under the Village Picnic Shelter, and each participant will have a picnic table to work at. In the case of poor weather conditions, this workshop will move indoors to the Great Hall at PCAHB. 

Thinking of joining us for the Pandemic Processional: A participatory public art happening on Saturday, October 31 at Noon? This is an opportunity to create a mask to wear to this day.

Pre-Booked, On-Site, Creative Art Workshop for All Ages 

Dates & Times:
Friday, October 23 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm
Friday, October 23 from 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm
(runs twice, two separate one-hour sessions) 

Cost: $15 (includes participation fee and decorations/baubles- Participants must bring their own hat)

Do you have a plain old witch hat sitting around that needs a little oomph? Maybe you want to put your own unique spin on the traditional look for this non-traditional year? Come decorate your hat with Lang Costuming Staff and see what creative new look you can come up with.  PLEASE BRING YOUR HAT! Decorations and baubles ONLY will be supplied.
