Youth Interpreter Program
Registration for the 2016 Youth Interpreter Program is now closed. Thank you to everyone who participated this season!
Youth ages 12 to 17 are given a taste of the life of a 19th-century teenager with the Youth Interpreter Program at Lang Pioneer Village Museum. This is a fun and interesting way to gain new skills and experience. As a Youth Interpreter you will wear a period-appropriate costume provided by the Village, develop your public speaking skills, learn new crafts and trades, gain work experience, learn health and safety skills for work/home, and make new friends. Youth can apply to the program for a two-week session, which takes place Tuesday to Thursday each week. The dates for the 2016 program are:
Session 1: July 5, 6, 7, 12, 13 & 14
Session 2: July 19, 20, 21, 26, 27 & 28
Session 3: August 2, 3, 4, 9, 10 & 11
The program runs from 10:30 am to 3 pm each day.
Space is limited.
There is a $75 fee per participant.
For more information about the application process please call 705-295-6694 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
