Youth Interpreter Program

Youth ages 12 to 17 are given a taste of the life of a 19th-century teenager with the Youth Interpreter Program at Lang Pioneer Village Museum. This is a fun and interesting way to gain new skills and experience. As a Youth Interpreter you will wear a period-appropriate costume provided by the Village, develop your public speaking skills, learn new crafts and trades, gain work experience, learn health and safety skills for work/home, and make new friends. Youth can apply to the program for a two-week session, which takes place Tuesday to Thursday each week. The dates for the 2017 program are:

Session 1: July 4, 5, 6, 11, 12 & 13
Session 2: July 18, 19, 20, 25, 26 & 27
Session 3: August 8, 9, 10, 15, 16 & 17
Session 4: August 22, 23, 24, 29, 30 & 31

The program runs from 10:30 am to 3 pm each day.
