2017 Show Ambassador- Jennifer Blair

Originally from Uxbridge, Jennifer has graduated from Trent University with a B.A. in Geography as well as Fleming College’s Recreation and Leisure Services program. Always having had an interest in history, Jennifer completed her college placement in the Special Events department here at Lang Pioneer Village Museum. It was during her post-secondary education that Jennifer came to develop an affection for Peterborough and it’s community.

With a strong desire to remain involved in community culture and recreation, Jennifer participates in a variety of athletics both as an athlete and volunteer. Her past volunteer experiences have seen her signing in participants at wrestling clinics, keeping track of game sheets at soccer matches, working the clock at hockey games, even helping coordinate other volunteers at local martial arts events. She ultimately hopes to combine her degree and diploma by getting a career in the long-term planning of recreation.

When Jennifer is not out and about traveling, she can often be found eating grilled cheese and looking at pictures of cats.
