The Visitor Centre, completed in 1983, was designed to give the appearance of an 1800s stone structure so that it would blend with the rest of the historic buildings. This 7,000 square foot building is where visitors gain admission to the historic village.
![]() It houses the Gift Shop featuring an eclectic variety of gifts and hand crafted items as well as the Main Gallery and a multi-purpose room for temporary exhibits and functions. All areas on the main floor are accessible by wheelchair. ![]() Those wishing to access the County of Peterborough's archival records for research purposes can make an appointment by calling (705) 295-6694. |
